Every year we host a small Super Bowl Party, but in the interest of safety, we decided to skip it this year. However, we will still set up a snack table and watch the big game out back on the projector! This easy football party idea is great for parties of any size, and can be done on a small budget!
Big Game Parties
If you want to feel like you are hosting a Super Bowl Party this year, you could drop off football party supplies at your friends’ and neighbors’ houses.
Football parties don’t have to be elaborate, and a lot of the decor can be homemade, like this Football Party Decor DIY project I shared a few years ago.
Football Party Food
Everyone knows football parties are all about the food and commercials. So, the snack table is a very important part of the party! I take it very seriously.
We are hoping for dry weather for the big game, and if that happens, we will watch it outside on the projector. And, I’ll set up most of our snacks on our lemonade stand.
We set up this fun table out back for some of the bowl games, and it was super easy to style and clean up. So, I think we will do the same for the Big Game!
I covered the lemonade stand with an inexpensive plastic backdrop, then I hung some banners from the top of the stand, and on the front of the stand. Next, I used my small helium tank to fill some football themed balloons and I secured them to the side of the stand.
Finally, it was time to add some food. I have been trying to get better about eating a little better. But, I also knew it was a football party, so of course we had to have some chicken fingers. My kids all like different flavors, so I didn’t sauce them, the kids and my husband did that on their own.
I used some wooden crates to carry every thing out to the table, and then I used those on the table too!
That’s it, it was super easy to set up, and the kids are already asking for the same snacks for the big game!
