Easy St. Patrick’s Day DIY
Easy St. Patrick’s Day DIY. Seriously, this is a 5 minute, low cost, easy, and fun way to dress up your beer mug for St. Patrick’s Day!
Supplies:
Cricut (or other vinyl cutting tool, scissors would work)
Green vinyl (The Oracal 651 is outdoor rated, and holds up well on glasses and cups)
Mug
5 Minutes
I dug through my scraps of Oracal 651 (shiny) vinyl from Expressions Vinyl, and found a 2″ by 4″ scrap of green. I found a shamrock image in my clip art files and uploaded it to Cricut. I added the words I and Beer in a bold font, and sized it to fit around the shamrock and on to my scrap of vinyl.
I weeded the vinyl and used painters tape to transfer the vinyl to the mug. I like using painter’s tape to transfer because, well, I always run out of transfer tape, and I got used to using painter’s tape. The mug is from the Dollar Tree.
In five minutes for just a dollar and some vinyl scraps, I have a fun and festive St. Patrick’s Day beer mug…now, bartender, pour me another.
