Bridal Shower.  Yesterday, I shared five simple {and budget friendly} DIY Bridal Party gift ideas.  I loved being able to make custom and meaningful gifts with my Cricut and Canon.  Today, I am sharing a stunning bridal shower I hosted recently. Cricut and Canon have teamed with several bloggers to share wedding inspiration over the next few weeks.  Be sure to read to the bottom of the post, I will share a link to enter to win a Canon and Cricut Wedding Crafting Bundle!

Last week I shared some tips to make addressing and sealing wedding invitations, along with a breathtaking black and white image of an engagement ring on a white rose.  I knew I wanted to use that image for the bridal shower too. I sliced the image into 5″x5″ squares in Photoshop, and printed each square with my Canon Pixma printer.  Then, I used my Cricut to cut each image out, and put the prints into white shadow box frames from IKEA.  Those frames were arranged symmetrically to show the full image on the wall, and made an eye popping backdrop.

As usual, I really needed the party to be simple…aka, little to no baking, and food making for me.  I ran to my local grocery store and picked up some artisan cheeses, apples, strawberries, champagne, Lindt candy truffles, chocolate croissants, and a decadent eclair cake.  I also bought some chocolate macarons from a chain store (they are not as good as homemade, but, they were much easier) I also purchased some Sugarfina candies the last two trips I made, and I had a box of them on the table too.  I served champagne, wine, and sparkling lemonade to drink.  I brought the stemless champagne glasses I decorated, as well as a few plain ones for the guests that aren’t part of the bridal party.  I also made a few extra bottle wraps for small bottles of champagne.

I really wanted the table to have a simple, elegant look to it, so I used a black table cloth against the pale grey walls and white frames.  I also made a tulle wedding dress for a dress form and added it to the table.  It was just right for the table! It took me about an hour to make it and 30 yards of tulle, but, it is stunning!
