Spring time is such a fun time of the year, the birds are chirping, the sky is a beautiful shade of blue, and the sun is shining.  Spring parties are so great for every age group! Spring screams gardens and critters to me.  Garden parties for mamas and toddlers, floral bridal and baby showers, a lovely garden tea…Spring flowers and gardens are perfect!  I was recently sent some of Laura Kelly’s Sizzix Dies to play with, and I instantly thought of Spring Party Favors.  My guys and nephew loved to dig in the garden when they were younger, and now my niece enjoys it!

I picked up the metal buckets and garden tools on clearance a while ago at my favorite store, Target, and I have been waiting until this Spring to use them. Laura’s Sizzix Dies were absolutely perfect to decorate the bucket and garden tool handles. I was able to have cute little embellishments in no time.  

To make them, I made my Sizzix sandwich; cutting pad, die, vinyl, cutting pad; then I ran it through my Sizzix Big Shot Machine. Voila, I had adorable Laura Kelly vinyl!  

I decorated one bucket, and handles for the gardening tools; but, I left the other buckets undecorated for the kiddos to decorate themselves.  It is literally as easy as putting a sticker on something.

 

I added paper shreds, seed packets, a box of Crayola Crayons, and a tube of Sixlets Candies in the bucket with the gardening tools.  It is perfect for any budding gardener!
