Halloween Charcuterie Board DIY
We had some little guests visit us this weekend, and I wanted to set out a fun tray of treats for them. Since I love a good charcuterie board, and who doesn’t? I thought it would be cute to set up a little Halloween treat board for the kiddos. It was super easy to set up, and looked absolutely adorable.
What is a Charcuterie Board?
A charcuterie board is a meat and cheese tray. I love to use them for Fall entertaining. {Like this one I made for my Fall Dinner Party with Clay Chick Ceramics} They are simple to make and make a beautiful, bold statement.
When I was putting this darling Halloween Treat board together, I was thinking of my Friendsgiving Table. I made several small charcuterie trays for our Friendsgiving table. But, I didn’t want to make a bunch of smaller trays this weekend. Instead, I only wanted to make one tray for our guests to share.
Gather Your Supplies
Whether you are making a traditional meat and cheese Charcuterie Board or a less traditional candy board, you should gather all of your supplies and the tray you will use and look at it. I like to try to picture where everything will be before I open, prepare, and place all of the goodies.
This fun Halloween charcuterie board fit perfectly on a simple wooden serving tray.
I filled the tray with grossly realistic gummy worms, severed finger candies, marshmallows, light up necklaces, spooky eye balls, and more. Almost everything on the tray is available from Oriental Trading Co. Small pumpkins and DIY Witch Hats were perfect fillers on the tray.
Style Your Charcuterie Tray
This is where you get to be creative! I filled small dipping bowls with eye balls, and I covered mini pumpkins with worms. Fun mini coffins filled with spider slime were stacked around the edges, with severed finger candies poking out from in between. Creepy gummy worms were draped over pumpkins, eyeballs, and mini felt witch hats.
Just try to cover the entire surface of your tray with treats and it will be perfect!
