Back to School Sweets Table
The boys head back to school soon. I am not exaggerating when I say they have asked me 9,453,621 times if I was going to have a sweets table set up for them when they get home on their first day of school. I have set up a fun dessert table every single year since my oldest started school, and I guess it’s something they all really look forward to. This year our back to school sweets table has a little vintage vibe, and I love it so much!

Make Memories
My guys have celebrated the first day of school every year for the past fifteen years. It is one of our family traditions that I don’t see ending any time soon. It’s my favorite way to hear all about their new classes, teachers, and friends while we wade through the mountains of back to school paperwork.
Style a Dessert Table
Styling a dessert table doesn’t need to be overwhelming. In fact, some years I have literally put cupcakes on cute plates at their dining spots and called it done. This year I’ll do a little more than that, but not a whole lot. We are in the process of moving my husband’s office, and I am totally over worked.
Instead of setting up a large dessert table, I am going to use our vintage school desk. I gathered a few things from the Dollar Spot at Target, I printed a few printables, and I bought some cupcakes. I also ordered some coordinating lollipops for each of the boys. Fiddlestix was kind enough to send me extra edible papers, so I put them on store bought frosted cookies and the cupcakes. I love that it was so easy to coordinate the lollipops to the party printables! The lollipops look amazing, and I can’t wait to give the boys their treats this year.
I pre-set the sweets table with everything but the food already, but I wanted to share it, so I added a few treats. I was able to set up the whole table in less than 35 minutes and I know the boys will be thrilled that our annual back to school tradition continues.
