Shark Week Towel DIY
Shark Week is a big deal at our house. My kids have grown up watching the series each summer, and look forward to our annual shark themed parties. Each year we invite friends and family to a jaw-some shark party. Our guests will each take home a fun {and useful} shark themed party favor. These DIY Shark Week Towels were so fun to make, and they look fin-tastic!
Shark Party Favor DIY
I love to DIY party invitations, decorations, and favors. I want to have favors that match my party theme and are going to be useful for our guests. One thing we are always running out of during the summer is dry pool towels. I cannot wash and dry them fast enough. So, each year, I try to throw out one or two old worn out towels and replace them with two or three new towels.
I know I can’t be the only one with a severe pool towel shortage each summer. And, with that in mind, I picked up a ton of inexpensive towels and added a little Shark Week themed HTV to each one.
Make a JAW-some Towel, Shirt, or Tote Bag:
To make this fin-tastic project, you will need a few minutes to work and a couple of supplies! And, if you are like me, you probably have all the supplies you need at home already.
Supplies for Shark Week Party Favor Beach Towels:
Step 1:
Download the Shark Week SVG File. Use code SHARKKNOCKOUT to download it FREE.
Step 2:
Upload the cut file to Design Space, and size it to fit your project.
Step 3:
Send the file to cut. Don’t forget to mirror the image and place the HTV on the cutting mat shiny side down.
Step 4:
Weed the excess vinyl. This is a knock out, so it will be a little more challenging than a typical weeding project.
Step 5:
Pre-heat the towel, and place the image on the towel where you want it.
Step 6:
Press the towel using Cricut’s recommended heat settings.
