Frozen Inspired Silly Putty

Like nearly every other child in the world, my kids are obsessed with the movie Frozen…still.  I recently found a recipe/DIY for Frozen Inspired Silly Putty, and sent it to Lizard N Ladybug because I knew her kiddos would love it as much as mine do!  My son says it looks like Elsa’s pond and he cannot wait to make some for our house too!

Staci adapted the original instructions to make it a little easier {YAY} and her version is awesome! 

 

Ingredients:

* Borax

* Blue glittered Elmer’s glue (they also carry purple and red)

 

 

 

Step 1

In a small bowl add 1/2 tsp (I used a little more) of Borax to 1/2 cup hot water.  Set aside.

 

 

Step 2

Empty glue into another bowl.  Fill empty glue bottle with water and add to the bowl too.  Stir it up.

 

 

Step 3

Pour Borax solution to your glue solution.

 

 

Mix slowly

Step 4

Magic!

 

 

*1/2 cup water may have been slightly too much but the silly putty turned out great!!
