Ice Cream Stand Party
July is National Ice Cream month, and we never miss an opportunity to celebrate! We love ice cream. Since my birthday is National Ice Cream Month Eve, we started the celebration a little early and set up a fun Ice Cream Stand Party. It was so much fun, and so refreshing on a {super} hot summer day. I am pretty sure we will have a few more Ice Cream Stand Parties this month!
If you decide to make a purchase through my links, I will be paid a small commission for it. This doesn’t cost you anything additional.
Ice Cream Theme Party
I knew it would be crazy hot, so I wanted to share a cool treat. I also didn’t want to do a whole lot of party prep and set up for my own party, so I kept everything as simple as possible.
I set up the Lemonade Stand as an Ice Cream Cart. I used my Cricut to cut triangles from sheets of felt and hot glued each triangle to ribbon to make my own bunting flags. I also created some printable food tents and tags. The tags were the perfect embellishment for the apothecary jars with ice cream cones. I also tied the tags on fun sprinkle dipped marshmallows for my kids and my niece and nephew. I bought the marshmallows from Dylan’s Candy Bar, but you could easily DIY them too. They are the perfect ice cream party favors!
Ice Cream Bar
We make ice cream at least once a week, and I thought it would be fun to set up a mini Ice Cream Sundae Bar with homemade Ice Cream.
We made a big batch of creamy vanilla ice cream before the party. We used that to pre-fill Ball Canning Jars with two scoops of ice cream and a drizzle of chocolate syrup. Then, just before everyone arrived, we put the ice cream jars and bottles of Coca Cola in a bucket of ice. The kids LOVED making their own Coke Floats.
During the party, we made chocolate ice cream for the cones and diy sundaes.
I cannot get enough of my lemonade stand! I am truly thinking of new ways to use it every week!
