Laminated Bag Tag DIY

Laminated Bag Tag DIY. We are gearing up for our annual Labor Day party, and this year I had dreams of renting a beach side place where I could have a bonfire and lots of friends around the water. Unfortunately, central Florida has been hit pretty hard with Red Tide, and I don’t want to host a party on the beach with Red Tide looming. So, we moved our party location to the back yard, but I stayed with the same theme.

I like to have party favors for our guests at every party. Sometimes, when we invite families over I will have one favor bag for the entire family, and fill it with treats everyone can enjoy. And, even though I am still working on the favors for our Labor Day Party, I do have the bags and family tags ready to go!

Xyron Creative Station with Laminate Cartridge {I made both a regular laminated tag, and a laminated magnetic tag}

Since we are still going with a seaside theme, I decided to use a lobster cut file for the tags. {I used the same lobster for our family vacation shirts} Once I edited the image to the correct size, I added each family’s last name to the lobster. I sent the lobsters to be written on and cut, then they were ready to be laminated.

Once each family on the guest list had a cute little gift bag tag, they were ready to be laminated. A quick pass through my Xyron Creative Station was all I needed. Next, I cut around the lobster edges to trim the excess laminate.
