Ingredients: 1 Cup Milk; 1 Cup Heavy Cream; 1/2 Cup Sugar; 1/2 C Nerds Candies

Summer Fun Ice Cream Recipe. One of our family’s favorite things to do during the summer is make homemade ice cream. We typically make a vanilla based ice cream, and add mix-ins during the churning process. So far this summer we have made bubble gum ice cream, vanilla ice cream, Pop Rocks ice cream, and our current favorite, Nerds ice cream!

Making homemade ice cream is a cinch, and you only need a few ingredients, a Nostalgia Electrics Ice Cream Maker, and an afternoon to wait for it! My boys have perfected making it on there own, and I have been lucky enough to come home from our office to a bowl of fresh ice cream a few times.
