I found some sour peach hard candies at the bulk food store, so I grabbed a small handful and set them aside to use in our Nostalgia Electrics Cotton Candy Machine. Since these are hard candy balls, I used a spoon to break the candy into smaller pieces. I put the candy pieces into the cotton candy machine and before I knew it I had super fine strands of sweet tart peachy flavored cotton candy that puckered our mouths with just the right amount of saliva as we devoured our newest cotton candy confection! 

The boys didn’t enjoy this as much as some of our other cotton candy treats, I think it was just too tart. But, unlike our Nerds cotton candy, this sour peach cotton candy was fluffy, like traditional cotton candy is. So far, we have found that super hard candies work the best with the Cotton Candy Machine…but we are eager to try more!
