We hosted an early Easter Egg Hunt for some of our friends. And, since it was an adult only hunt, I thought I should make delicious Easter Cocktail for everyone to enjoy while they hunted.
Easter Drinks
I wanted our drinks to be light and easily customizable. And, since my family loves Mimosas, I knew these would be a big hit.
I love mimosas for nearly any party drink because it allows guests to easily mix their drinks to fit their taste preference. But, I also have a party punch available.
And, whenever I host a party, I have several non alcoholic drink options.
I’ll be using my Arnold Palmer Recipe for our Egg Hunt and I may even pull out some recipes from our Make a Splash Pool Party!
Strawberry Lemonade Mimosa
The best mimosa recipes always included a fresh or high quality juice and a light and bubbly sparkling wine or champagne. I typically use a mid-priced sparkling wine.
And, I really like to add a fresh fruit mix-in option as well as frozen fruit to use with ice cubes.
To save myself some time, I bought Simply Lemonade for our mimosas. Then, I muddled some fresh strawberries in about 1 TBS of Lemonade. I allowed them to sit for about an hour before the party to let them get really juicy. A added frozen strawberries and nugget ice to a vintage wash bowl for our guests to add to their drinks as well.
Our Easter Mimosas were a delicious treat while we hunted for over 200 fun filled Easter Eggs!
