Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week. I am truly thankful for all of my boys’ teachers, each one has played an important role in my sons’ lives. However, we have three boys in school still, and each one has seven (!!) teachers. That’s a lot of appreciation, times 5. So, I have to come up with some special gifts for each teacher, on a budget! Since summer is on everyone’s mind, I wanted to create a colorful, tropical inspired card. I quickly decided to use a darling watercolor painted flamingo to make these totally adorable flamingo note cards!

I mentioned my need for a ton of {affordable} teacher appreciation gifts, but, I also want to share custom looking, personalized gifts for the teachers.

We are lucky enough to have had the same group of teachers for my boys as they all attend{ed} the same middle school, so I am totally comfortable giving these teachers small bottles of champagne to help kick off their summer celebrations!

Make Custom Gifts

I bought a case of small bottles of champagne and carefully removed each label. Next, I printed the flamingo note cards on lightweight card stock. There are six on each page, so I had to print a couple of pages to make sure I had one label for each bottle. Then, I cut out each note card and ran them through my Xyron Creative Station. Finally, I applied the note card to each bottle as a label. They are the cutest personalized little gifts for our teachers. Some teachers are retiring this year, so they are getting fun Tervis tumblers too!
