We have spent a lot of time coloring and drawing on our iPads since our Safer at Home time started. My sons are gifted artists and I asked my oldest son if he would draw a cactus coloring page for me to share with you all. He quickly created a beautiful free printable coloring page, and I am super excited to share it and color it myself!
Cactus Coloring Pages
I love to take time to color. I always have. It’s just so soothing to me to spend fifteen to twenty minutes (or more) changing a simple black and white image into a colorful piece of art. And, right now, I could use a little more peace and time away from the TV and news. Coloring relaxes the fear center of your brain. It’s similar to meditating, reducing the thoughts of a restless mind.
I asked my son to draw a cactus for his brother’s recent birthday fiesta, we had a Cinco de Mayo Party at Home because we couldn’t go to our son’s favorite Mexican restaurant. When we go out to eat, we always ask for kids meals to color while we wait for our meals to be served. So, to make it feel more like a restaurant, my son drew cactus coloring pages for all of us.
