Boo Bucket – You’ve Been Moo’d. I LOVE dropping off Boo buckets to our friends and their families during the month of October. I know, as a parent, one of the best things about Halloween is the parent tax on the candy the kids get while trick or treating…and, I’ll be bummed when I can’t “tax” the kids anymore. I also have a few friends that know I always have Cow Tales candies available at my house, and will swing by just to grab a few candies.
This year I decided to Boo my friends without kiddos at home. And as I thought about who would be on my list, I realized they were some of the same friends that came over just for Cow Tales. I thought it would be fun to give those friends Moo Buckets instead of Boo Buckets this year!
I started with a simple black cauldron and white DecoArt Americana Multi-Surface Satin White Paint to paint cow spots on the outside. While the cauldron dried, I used my Cricut Maker to cut out a cute felt cow mask. I bought the file on Etsy, and hot glued the pieces in place. I cut an extra piece of white felt to use on the inside of the mask to help keep the elastic secure.
I bought a Chick Fil A gift card and Redbox codes to add to the bucket with the Cow Tales Minis and mask. But, you could totally just fill it with Cow Tales.
My sweet friend Paula from Frog Prince Paperie created the most adorable Halloween Cow printables for me to attach to the cauldrons too!
I cannot wait to Moo my neighbors this month!
