I have to admit, it took me a little bit to be able to wrap my head around this month’s free SVG hop theme. But, once I figured out what I wanted to create, I quickly fell in love. And, I am so excited to share this month’s totally free banner SVG file!

Every month several of my blogger friends and I share totally free SVG files. I wanted to share a file that could be used for any occasion. And, I really love this DIY banner so much!

Typically our Totally Free SVG Files are perfect for making tote bags, t-shirts, and even signs and mugs. But, this month’s theme is a great theme for DIY decorations.

Make a Free Party Banner

It’s pretty easy to make a custom shirt, bag, or hand towel. But, banners may be a little more challenging. However, if you are even a little bit crafty, you probably have everything you need at home to make a banner. If not, click the links below, or head to my Amazon Shop.

I chose to make my banner with Cricut Chipboard, and then I painted it to match the party’s colors. And, I can repaint it for our next celebration if I want too! I did not add holes to the hang the banner, but you could use a standard hole punch to add them if you want.

You will need a Maker and KnifeBlade to cut this project out of chipboard. Before you begin cutting the banner, you will need to tape the chipboard to the cutting mat. This will take a little while to cut, but it will be worth it in the end.
