Simple Halloween Wreath. I love to look through catalogues for decor and party inspiration. Pottery Barn is one of my favorites…like everyone else, right? While thumbing through the pages, I saw an awesome bat wreath for Halloween, but, as I looked at it more closely, I saw the wings were feathers, and the price was downright scary!
This wreath is so simple, it takes less than 10 minutes to make, and looks AWESOME, but, best of all, it costs less than $10!!!
Supplies:
For my wreath, I purchased bat SVG files, but you can use one from Design Space too. Begin by cutting your bats with your maker and rotary blade. The Maker makes quick work of this job, and cuts the bats flawlessly. I use a green mat just for felt now, and I haven’t had any issues. I also use felt from Kunin Group when I can’t get Cricut Felt in the color I need.
Once your bats are cut to the size you want, use hot glue to attach a pipe cleaner to the back of each bat. This will allow you to bend the wings.
Next, h0t glue the bats to the wreath. Hang it on your door and enjoy your Pottery Barn Knock Off!
