Simple DIY Coffee Bar. Y’all in just a few weeks our home will be bursting with out of town family and guests to celebrate my oldest son as he graduates high school. I am still feeling a little shock that my boy has grown so quickly into a young man…I vividly remember toddlerhood with him, and then elementary school, middle school, and now, high school. When we host overnight guests, I like to set up a simple coffee bar.
One of the best ways to make a guest feel welcome is to make sure your home is inviting and comfortable. If your guests don’t have to constantly ask you for supplies, they will feel more at home in your home. I knew I wanted my DIY Home Coffee Bar to be simple to set up, and simple for our guests to serve themselves. I cleared a vintage table I have, and pushed it against a wall with a plug. I love how easy my morning routine has become since I set up the Coffee Bar, and I feel like it will become a permanent fixture in our home! It looks so pretty, and it’s functional too!
I went to my Publix {Do you claim your favorite Publix as your own? In Florida, we claim our favorite local store and call it My Publix} to gather groceries for my family, and wandered down the coffee and cereal aisle…because, y’all I have four kids, and our staples are coffee and cereal. While I was there, I saw 1850™ Brand coffee. I grabbed a few boxes, but my current favorite is the Pioneer Blend. There are four signature blends of Ground and K-Cup coffee, and will also be available in 3 Ready to Drink flavors. 1850™ Brand {read more about this deliciously bold new brand here} coffee beans are fire roasted and steel cut, allowing the rich taste and aroma to really shine, it also makes the coffee a consistently smooth, less bitter flavor. The unique blend of ground coffee yields a smooth, bold taste. This delicious blend is inspired by the heritage of the Folger Coffee Company, Folgers was founded during the California Gold Rush in 1850, and inspired dreams and ambitions then, and now! While I was at Publix, I picked up some bakery muffins, candies, and fresh flowers.
Once I was home, it was time to get to work on the new DIY Coffee Bar! I hung a vintage window above the table, and then a paper flower wreath over the window. I shopped the house for decorations for the coffee bar, and put them all on the table, and arranged, and rearranged until I was satisfied with the way it looked. I filled a sweet metal coffee can with 1850™ Brand K-Cups, and added sugar to a ceramic jar. A metal bucket was filled with breathtaking pink rose buds, and candle sticks were topped with light neutral candles. A small galvanized bucket was filled with candies, and pre-made muffins were placed on a small cake plate. Creamer was poured into a small ceramic bottle, and can easily be popped back into the fridge if there is any left after a busy morning!
1850™ Brand Coffee, is the perfect start to any morning, especially crazy busy mornings with extra house guests, or tired mornings with long days ahead…no matter your morning routine, a coffee bar stocked with 1850™ Brand coffee is sure to help get your morning started on the right foot!
