Hand Made Halloween Trick or Treat Bag.  A few months ago I was invited to the Cricut Mountain Make-a-Thon.  It was truly an amazing experience!  While I was there, they announced three new products…all have literally been life changing for me! Obviously, they released the new Cricut Maker Machine, but they also announced the release of the Bright Pad and the Easy Press. Y’all, this trio is a party girls dream!

Like so many people, I like custom Halloween bags (Christmas Stockings, Easter Buckets, etc.)…with four kids, it was kind of necessary to help keep the fighting at bay…but, y’all it’s expensive to do custom everything! Several years ago I discovered Cricut Iron on and I quickly made friends with my iron and started customizing all the things.  And, while that was great, I longed for the space to have a heat press…until the angels sang and I laid eyes on the Easy Press!
Cricut sent me the trio of awesome, and I danced the most Elaine Benes Happy Dance ever…and then I fired them up and started making Halloween Bags for all.the.kids I know!
My favorite by far is the skeleton bag!

Supplies:

Cricut
Bright Pad
Easy Press
White Iron On Vinyl
Black Canvas Treat Bag
Open Design Space and size the skeletons to fit your bag.
Send it to your Cricut to cut, don’t forget to mirror and cut shiny side down.
Place the vinyl on your Bright Pad and weed the excess vinyl. (This was a different project, but it was super hard to see the white vinyl on the Bright Pad)

Stick the weeded skeletons on the bag where you would like them, and use your Easy Press to press them onto the bag.

I LOVE this bag so much, I may make myself a shirt just like it!
