DIY Cooler Decal with Cricut. I am thrilled to be sharing another Cricut® Explore Air™ 2 Special Edition, Martha Stewart Machine Bundle project that is perfect for the Summer! This new vinyl is the bees knees and so much better than anything I have previously used. The new carrier allows material to lie flat as it unrolls. Every summer for the last several years I’ve wandered through HomeGoods and loved the vintage style coolers they have…but, y’all I have no less than 10 coolers and I truly don’t need anymore…except, I had a gift card, it was the last one, and it was a pretty blue…and Cricut vinyl, and monograms. The next thing I knew that sweet little blue cooler had jumped into my shopping cart and was on its way home with me.

I have always had thing for pineapples, so I decided to slice the Martha Stewart Pineapple image in Design Space and add my my monogram to the center. The monogram is a cartridge, just search monogram and insert your letters, then ungroup, and delete as it fits your monogram. I regrouped the letters and then attached them to the pineapple in the space that I sliced.

Once I figured out how big to make the pineapple it was time to decide on the vinyl for it. I wanted it to be removable, so I could change it up for future parties and events, so I chose the removable Cricut Premium Vinyl™.

Now I was ready to cut the pineapple and monogram. Since I decided to have the monogram be the same color as the pineapple, I cut it as one cut. {If I had cut them as two colors, I would have used a small square of transfer tape to place the monogram in the middle of sliced section of the image.} Next, I applied transfer tape to the entire image and carefully applied it to the center of my cute little cooler.
