Back to School Craft Lightning. I have mentioned before that I am truly a 10 minute or less crafter. Paper crafts frustrate me, and I can’t sew…so that leaves me with a limited amount of crafting mediums. Thankfully, vinyl is my thing, and Cricut has an excellent tool for craft challenged girls like me!My youngest boy is still in elementary school {his last year, let the crying begin} and needs every.single.thing labeled…but, his school is changing the 5th grade schedule and moving the kids from class to class to help prepare them for middle school a little more. So, binders are a big deal…they need several. And, I have disorganized boys…so, I grabbed a few binder pouches from Target for the kiddo, and some binders, (helpful tip, check to make sure the Target brand pouches actually fit in the 3 ring binder before you buy it…I did not, and I now have super cute custom pouches he cannot use in the binder…) and fired up the Cricut.
The boy didn’t want any designs on his pouches, just his first name, in yellow vinyl…with that font…so, that’s what we did, I cut, he weeded, and we both ironed onto the pouches.
We whipped up four pouches in less than 15 minutes and he’s almost ready for his last year in elementary school…I’ll just be over here crying.
