I was recently able to review several items, and I knew I wanted to do something fun with them! I am a party girl at heart, so I knew I needed my review to be centered around a party. I have loved flamingos for as long as I can remember, so I am thrilled that they are back in style! I am just smitten with this fun Flamingo Party I hosted. I served drinks and desserts for a few close friends and we all just had a wonderful time gabbing and snacking!
I used candies from SweetWorks, and Sugar Wish to bring the colors in to the party as well as for quick pick snacking! Made by a Princess sent me the gorgeous sparkly sticks and flamingo picks. Always the Occasion sent the cutest flamingo painted Ball canning jars that I used as vases, and Cupcake with Character sent the best white ruffled table runner and pink and teal bunting to accent the party table!
I purchased a small cake from Publix and asked the decorator to frost it with a pink ombre ruffle style, I added Edible Details crazy cute fondant starfish and SweetWorks candy fish to accent the cake. I also added two flamingo picks to the top of the cake just for fun!
I served frozen drinks, margaritas, and water to stay cool (and hydrated). For a little extra color and fun, I put the drinks in a bright teal planter, and added a cute ornamental yard flamingo from Home Depot to the planter! And I served cake, fruit, candies, and strawberry shortcake to nibble on.
Each guest went home with a plastic stemless wine glass embellished with a vinyl flamingo.
It was a fun few hours of kid free fun, and we all can’t wait to do it again soon!
I know the backdrop is pretty amazing, please come back tomorrow and find out more about it!
