Every now and then I like to set up a fun party table for the family for no real reason. The kids get a kick out of it, and I love to do it, so it’s a win win. I decided I needed to have a Totally Rad 80’s Party table recently, so I set up a small table for our family one afternoon.

80’s Party Decorations

Since we weren’t celebrating anything special, I wanted to keep the decorations minimal, and reusable! Thankfully, Oriental Trading Company had nearly everything I needed for our rad impromptu party. We love to celebrate the 80’s, the boys still talk about the Ghostbusters Party we had a few years ago.

I ordered a fun cassette tape pool raft to use as the backdrop. It was simple and the kids are really looking forward to using it in the pool once it warms up again. I also ordered an inflatable boom box, plates, cups, and napkins for the table.

But, my very favorite part of the table was the DIY game cabinet I made for our iPad mini. The kids’ minds were blown! Look for the SVG and DIY soon!

80’s Party Favors

It wasn’t a real party, but we still had some totally awesome party favors for the guys. I ordered mini Rubik’s Cubes, and neon candy tubes.

Party Food

I ran to the grocery store and bought some totally 80’s food for the table before the boys got home. We all munched on Twinkies and Hostess Cakes and washed it all down with a few cold Tab Colas.
