Fun and Easy Elf on A Shelf Snowball Activity
We live in central Florida, so we don’t have snow {or even cool weather} during the holidays. But, we love the idea of a white Christmas, and snowy fun.
One of my son’s favorite birthday parties was his winter wonderland party with pompom snowballs and ice skating at one of our local ice rinks. It’s been a few years, and we still pull out those “indoor snow balls” for a fun snowball fight!
We don’t have visiting elves, but my niece and nephew do, and they were excited to tell me how their elves visit Santa each night while they sleep. Of course they were sure to tell me about all of the snow at the North Pole, and how the elves got to play with snow at night…which made me think of our indoor snowballs.
My niece and nephew’s elves have already brought back small treats in little canvas bags. So, I thought why not use some more of those small bags to make snowball bags for the elves.
Make your own Snow Ball Bags
I quickly whipped up this cute little SVG {use the code SNOW to download it free} and used my Cricut to cut out Iron On Foil. Don’t forget, all Iron On needs to be mirrored then cut shiny side down. Then, I used my EasyPress 2 to press the foil onto the little bags. Finally, I filled the bags with small pompoms for the elves to throw at each other. If you’re feeling super adventurous, you could make or buy cotton pompoms and put them in a bucket for your own snowball fights!
