Rustic 4th of July Celebration. I love all things vintage and rustic. I joke with my family I like rustic things because I can build it myself, and if it’s not quite perfect, I can call it rustic and it’s good. In my mind, there is nothing that says 4th of July more than patriotic bunting. It’s totally my favorite. When I saw the vintage, tea stained style bunting from Oriental Trading Company, I was smitten! I ordered two for the back deck. Then, I ordered two long buntings to swag in front of the outdoor counter and across the top of the roof line.A vintage dairy cooler kept our drinks cool, and buckets held fun treats. One bucket held sparklers and glow sticks. Another held yummy red, white, and blue candies from Oriental Trading. The large bucket was full of water for the discarded sparklers.
A simple store bought apple pie sat on a red cake plate and was embellished with Cricut made rosettes attached to paper straws, also from Oriental Trading Company. Apothecary jars were dressed with blue ticking striped ribbon and another rosette, and filled with traditional and chocolate Caramel Creams Candies.
Our back yard is ready for guests! And so am I!
