Pie Judging Party

Warm summer nights call for time spent with friends…time spent with friends calls for a party, and nothing is better than a county fair theme. Lots of fresh hay and fruits, traditional fair foods and of course, the treats!  This Pie Judging Party was such a fun and unique way to celebrate a carnival themed birthday party!

My friend Tammy and I decided to do a fun twist on her county fair party and make our dessert table all about the pies! She had her family make their famous pies and I set them up on a table for a pie judging contest. Which really meant, you got to eat all the pie you wanted! I made some fun blue ribbons out of cupcake liners and a piece of ribbon to award all the amazing pies. Because lets face it, I have never met a pie I didn’t like. It was a perfect afternoon and evening and everyone had an amazing time.

Although this party was near the end of the summer, I believe this would be a fun celebration no matter what time of year you celebrate!
