Fall Dinner Party Ideas. We are SO grateful the weather in Florida is starting to feel a little more like Fall, and to celebrate, we invited our hockey team families over in between games.
Since there are a lot of kids, parents and siblings cheering on the boys, I knew it wouldn’t be a small party! And since it was between hockey games, I knew I wouldn’t have a lot of prep time for the party.
We’ve already decorated the back deck for the fall with simple neutral colors and banners, so, all I really needed to focus on was the food and drinks. A quick trip to Sam’s Club made that an easy task, and we were ready for the whole team, and their families! {I love being a Sam’s Club Member! We can shop early with our membership and fill a cart for less} Have you ever had the Member’s Mark 16” Take ‘N Bake Pepperoni Pizza? They are big enough for a crowd and absolutely delicious…and so affordable. The pizzas are ready in just about 15 minutes. They are made fresh daily with 100% whole milk cheese, tomato sauce that is made from non-GMO California grown tomatoes and have a delicious artisan-style crust! Perfect for feeding hungry families between hockey games, or on a busy weeknight! I grabbed a few of the Member’s Mark 16” Take ‘N Bake Pepperoni and Cheese Pizzas, a few cases of Coca-Cola® Mini-Cans and Sprite® Mini-Cans. Coca-Cola® is perfect for parties and stocking the fridge! The Sprite® Mini-Cans are made with 100% natural flavors, with a crisp clean taste!
Once I was done shopping at Sam’s Club, I was just about ready for the team! I put the Member’s Mark 16” Take ‘N Bake Pepperoni Pizzas and Member’s Mark 16″ Take ‘N Bake Cheese Pizzas in the fridge with the Coca-Cola® and Sprite® mini-cans. I set up extra seating on our back deck and added a few pumpkins and fresh flowers to the counter. Then I was off to cheer on my favorite hockey player for his first game of the day. After the game, everyone joined us at our house for a couple of hours of downtime, fellowship, and, of course, delicious food before the next game. Since we were feeding what felt like a small army, we put some pizza on the grill. {We have a wood burning grill, we waited for the coals to cool to 200* and baked the pizza as we would in the oven} We cooked some of the pizzas in the kitchen too, so we could feed the families quicker. The grilled pizzas had a crispy wood fired oven bottom, and a slight hint of smoke flavoring.
Since we live closest to the ice rink, this is our new way to spend the hours between games. Thankfully the weather is perfect for outdoor entertaining right now too!
If you like this party, be sure to check out these parties too!
