Donut Shop Party

Donut Shop Party. You guys, I love donuts…they could well be my kryptonite…I am not even kidding. I like cheap donuts from the grocery store or chain stores, but I really love fancy donuts from specialty donut shops. I truly think I could live off of donuts, for a little while at least.

No one that knows me was even a little surprised when I ordered the Donut Party supplies from Oriental Trading Company, just to shoot a donut party {and eat donuts}. I super love this line from OTC. You can order everything you need for your party except the donuts and milk!

I styled this party against a blank neutral wall, on a crisp white shelf I built. I hung the donut banner above the shelf, and set up the bottom two shelves to mimic a retro donut shop. Fun donut favor boxes were assembled, but not filled. I thought it would be fun to let the guests fill their boxes. I also added paper hats, and mini plush donuts.

The top shelf held all the sweet treats! A tiered shelf was the perfect place for some of the donuts, and simple white cake plates flanked each side with more donuts. Glass milk jars were pre-filled with milk. Oriental Trading Company has darling donut plates that are the perfect size for sweet treats.
