BBQ Party Favors

Yesterday I shared our take on a BBQ restaurant at home. It was awesome, but my guys were giving me a hard time for having a “party” without cake and favors. Y’all, they are teenagers and they still want party favors. But, what they didn’t know is that I already had some fun bbq party favors ready for them after they cleaned the kitchen to pay for their meals. LOL!

BBQ Party Favors

Whenever we go to a restaurant that has the wooden peg games the kids get all excited and we usually have to ask if we can have an extra on for our table.

So, when I saw a set of them at Oriental Trading Company, I immediately put them in my cart. There are SO many different games. However, be sure to take a sharpie or a pen and write down how many pegs and dice go with each game on the back of each one. I did not, and I spent entirely too much time looking up how many pegs the games needed.

I placed one game and all of the necessary pegs and dice into a cello bag and tied the bag shut with gingham ribbon. Red ribbon is my favorite, it can be used for Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Memorial Day, Summer Parties, Fourth of July, Labor Day and so many more party themes. I usually have several rolls of red ribbon at any given time. And, since I know my kids, I knew the bags would need a tag on them, so I made cute little BBQ Party circles and attached them to the bags too.
