Thanks for Helping Me Bloom
This project post is a part of a paid marketing campaign with Snap. Although this post is sponsored the project idea and all opinions expressed are my own.
Thanks for helping me bloom, a teacher appreciation card.
By now you should know that I was recently sent a box of Amy Tangerine Plus One goodies…And, you really should know by now where to find the previously sold out Amy Tangerine paper crafting products…However, I am going to share the links and info again. To purchase your own, head on over to HSN March 24th. This collection was released in the Winter of 2014 and sold out in most retail outlets. At just under $20 these bundles include a basic kit, an embroidery kit, an embellishment kit and a stamping kit! There are 5(!) discounted bundles available, as well as the SOLD OUT Plus One Project Life Mini Kit at a discounted rate.
My boys are pretty darn lucky to have the teachers they have! All of their teachers go above and beyond in their classrooms, and I truly feel blessed to have my boys in their care everyday. I think it’s a wonderful idea to let someone know you appreciate them whenever the mood strikes you, not just when a day on the calendar says you should.
Using just one sheet of Amy Tangerine scrapbook paper, a piece of scrap scrapbook paper, washi tape, twine, and a button, the boys and I made an adorable card for their teachers. While I was out running errands earlier this week, I grabbed a few Home Depot gift cards, and a couple of pretty little (and affordable plants) to pair up with this card. It’s not extravagant, just a small gesture to show that you see their hard work and you appreciate it!
These cards can be made anyway you like, but, I folded mine in quarters and embellished it from there. After we liked the front of the cards, I had the boys write “Thank you for helping me bloom!” on the inside of the cards. I used a tiny clothes pin to attach the Home Depot gift card (it even came with seeds, how cute is that?) and put the plant in a small metal bucket I had around the house. (I probably picked it up at the Dollar Spot in Target) My boys are super excited to take their treats into their teachers, and I am happy to show my boys that everyone deserves and loves a little something extra and unexpected!
Look at that beautiful plant!! I love that it has 2 different colored flowers and it was just $1!!!
Come back tomorrow to see my last project using Amy Tangerine products, and be sure to check out what else I made here and here!
