Easter Card
This is the last project using my Amy Tangerine Plus One goodies that will be available for purchase on HSN March 24th. This collection was released in the Winter of 2013 and sold out in most retail outlets. At just under $20 these bundles include a basic kit, an embroidery kit, an embellishment kit and a stamping kit! There are 5(!) discounted bundles available, as well as the SOLD OUT Plus One Project Life Mini Kit at a discounted rate.
Yesterday I touched on the importance of giving a card to your child’s teacher just because, today, I am sharing an adorable Easter card for your child’s teacher!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this card! From the twine grass to the cut out Easter eggs on the front, this card is just too cute! Like yesterday, I used just one sheet of Amy Tangerine scrapbook paper, and a few pieces of scraps. I also used green twine, washi tape, hot glue, and Elmer’s school glue. I folded this card into quarters as well, and I embellished it with egg shaped scrapbook paper decorated with patterned washi tape. I wanted the eggs to look like they were in the grass, so I used small cuts of green twine folded in half and hot glued them to the card. Then, I added a few strips of green washi tape below the grass line. Inside the card, the boys wrote, “Thanks for being an EGGcellent teacher!” The boys will take these cards to their teachers before easter with a small bag of candy and maybe a Starbucks gift card. This card can easily be adapted for a grandparent, baby sitter, or who ever else you feel is EGGS-tra special.
I paired the card with a soft and sweet plush lamb, a Starbucks gift card, and a small bag of candy eggs.
The card works very well with just a small bag of egg candy as well!
I hope you enjoyed all the fun things I made using Amy Tangerine products, and don’t forget to head over to HSN on the 24th to get your own supplies!
