Tacos and Tequila Cinco de Mayo Party
Tacos and Tequila Cinco de Mayo Party. We are less than one week away from Cinco de Mayo, and I am desperately trying to put together a small party, and work on other amazing fun things…and still be ready for my son’s graduation. May is a busy month folks, buckle up!
Because I am all about easy breezy parties, I decided to use one of Pineapple Paper Co.’s SVG’s from the shop as my party inspiration. I downloaded the cut file, uploaded it to Cricut Design Space, and then I added some small potted cactus cut outs to the image. I cut it out of white adhesive vinyl and applied it to a small table top chalkboard. So easy! Cinco de Mayo party decorations don’t have to be elaborate or difficult to set up…
I staged this party against a crisp white brick wall, and used the picado banner to add pops of color. I leaned the chalkboard against the wall on the table, and added a fun marquee style cactus light to the other side of the table. Fun cactus glasses were placed in front of the marquee light. Again, going with easy breezy, I used store bought vanilla mini cupcakes and infused a little margarita mix into them {so they are still kid friendly} and added a lime wedge to the frosting.
For Cinco de Mayo, I will set up a taco bar {like this one from my very favorite Cinco de Mayo themed party}, but for this shoot, I just added pre-made tacos to a ceramic serving tray from Clay Chick Ceramics.
Of course our party will have a bottle of our favorite tequila on hand!
And, if I have time, our guests will all get Tacos and Tequila shirts to take home…because it doesn’t have to be Cinco de Mayo to celebrate with Tacos and Tequila!
