The Performance – A Llama Party. I am absolutely smitten with the sweet llama selection at World Market. See the story of a little boy with his trumpet who finds the inspiration he needs for a Christmas music performance by gathering the support of friendly llamas.

So, so sweet, right? My kiddos love to decorate holiday cookies. They seriously cannot get enough of it! I recently returned home from a trip to visit friends, I was gone for several days, and the boys missed {or pretended to} me. While I was away, I ordered some sweet llama wrapping paper and fun pre-made llama cookies. My hubby just had to swing into our local {Clearwater, FL} World Market store and pick up the items. Super easy! After the boys went to bed the night I came home, I set up our dining table to surprise the boys with a mini llama party. It was such a simple way to bring my boys joy.

I used llama wrapping paper as a table runner, and my husband’s old trumpet was the centerpiece on the table. I left our snow filled lanterns and candle sticks on the table.

When the kids woke up in the morning they saw the box of llama cookies and frosting bags and cookie decorations waiting for them at their spots at the kitchen counter. Instead of breakfast we decorated llama and ornament cookies.

Then we watched “The Performance” video and talked about how we would bring people joy this season. We will recreate our 24 days of kindness calendar, we will gift from the heart, and we will celebrate Christmas Eve by going to the local mall and blessing 6 strangers like we do each year. It’s so important to share joy all year, but especially during the holiday season.
