Fall Dinner Party with Clay Chick Ceramics.  I recently found out about Clay Chick Ceramics and I am totally in LOVE with their product line!  So, I was THRILLED when they asked if I would shoot a party using their products.

The Clay Chick Ceramics website has so much to choose from, but I was able to narrow it down to two rectangle boards, the pocket, and the blank oval ornament.  I also got the button embellishment with “Menu” added to it, and the scarecrow embellishment.  I wanted to host a smaller dinner party for a few friends…nothing too big, or fancy, just a nice evening meal.  Obviously, I wanted to host it on our party deck, but Mother Nature had other plans, so we moved the party inside.  

I moved our outdoor bench inside and draped it with a cozy buffalo plaid quilt and some fluffy pillows. I finally hung up a shelf next to the pantry closet walls and I got to work on the menu and decor.  I used one rectangle board with the menu embellishment to share the dinner menu.  My Cricut made easy work of cutting the vinyl, and kept the text perfect.  I placed it on the shelf next to the pantry, along with the pocket embellished with the scarecrow and filled with seasonal flowers.  Between the menu board and the pocket, I added some gourds, our monogrammed oval ornament and some measuring cups I purchased in TN this summer. 

Since I originally planned to host the party on the deck, I ordered a round table cloth…unfortunately, we moved inside and the round table wasn’t an option, so I folded the table cloth into a table runner.  I bought a variety of pumpkins and gourds for the table, and I used my metal lanterns on the table for height and ambient lighting. (I use these darn things allllll the time!) I even picked up some darling pumpkin serving dishes from World Market! 

I decided to serve salad, bread, and pasta, with water and sangria to drink.  Of course I wanted our guests to have a simple appetizer before dinner while we all caught up, so I used my other rectangle board as a charcuterie board with a variety of cheeses and meats to snack on. I served warm pie for dessert, and sent our guests home with a homemade jar of my semi famous warm apple moonshine.
