DIY Tropical Balloon Garland with Cricut. I am so excited to be hosting a girls night this week! I decided to host a little luau party, and I really love the balloon garland trend! So, I decided to make one for our luau with a little Cricut twist.I ordered a beautiful plumeria garland from Oriental Trading Company for the garland base. I purchased two packages of 24 tropical colored balloons, and I used the new Cricut Party Foil and my Cricut to make tropical leaves. {Project link here}I started by blowing up all 48 balloons. Then, I cut 48 small pieces of baker’s twine. I tied all the balloons to the plumeria garland, spacing them out and randomly adding colors along the garland. I trimmed the excess baker’s twine from balloons and garland. Next, I used Command Brand hooks on the wall to hold the balloon garland above the party table.
Finally, I used my Xyron Mega Tape Runner to add a little adhesive to the backs of the leaves, and attached them to the balloons.
My party backdrop is bright and colorful and ready for a luau!

This tropical balloon arch is so fun for tropical parties and so easy. Gotta love that. I tried to do a balloon arch once but I didn’t blow up the balloons full enough. Blowing up balloons always makes me nervous hee hee
