Refreshing Iced Coffee Recipe. The dog days of summer have already hit Central Florida…and, frankly, it is just too darn hot to enjoy a warm cup of coffee in the mornings…but, uh, coffee is a necessity, amIright? Several years ago I came up with a recipe for iced coffee, and it was a hit! Everyone that has ever tried it has asked for more, by the gallon. I make it for the boys’ teachers, for the family, for my friends, and to keep in the fridge! It’s crazy simple to make, and can sit in the fridge for a few days…if it will last.
I like to start with a mild roast coffee, but pick your favorite blend. I also use pure cane sugar, or coconut sugar, and I have recently started using Simply Pure® Creamers, they take your morning cup from basic to boss. Never say no to flavor.™ I love them, they are light, but still creamy, so you don’t feel weighed down and sluggish after your morning cup of joe. They have a few flavors, Vanilla and Caramel, and they are as good as the ingredients they’re made from; simple, delicious creamers with no artificial flavors or colors. One of my favorite things about Simply Pure is the fact that it doesn’t lose its flavor. With just five simple ingredients, including real milk, cream, and sugar, it tastes delicious and, dare I say, pure! A quick trip to my neighborhood Walmart provided me with the three ingredients I needed for my iced coffee recipe, though, I grabbed a few more items to make a simple snack, and some socks for my boys, and, and, and because, mom life, right? 
To make my semi-famous iced coffee, you will need old fashioned brewed coffee grounds, Simply Pure® Vanilla Creamer, and raw cane sugar. 
Brew 12 cups of coffee, and pour hot coffee over 1 cup of sugar. Whisk the coffee to dissolve the sugar, and allow to cool. Once the coffee cools, stir in 1 pint of Simply Pure® Vanilla Creamer. Pour over ice, and enjoy. This coffee will keep in an airtight container in the fridge for several days, but rarely lasts that long.

This is my go to recipe for my mom’s group. And, we all enjoyed several glasses over our morning chat about the upcoming elementary school graduation.
