Cow Tales Mini Donuts

This review is based strictly on my opinion.  Others may have a different opinion or experience with the product listed above.  I was provided the sample free of charge by the company or PR agency and I have given my honest opinion.  

Cow Tales Mini Donuts.  It should come as no surprise that we love sweet treats in my house.  We try to indulge in moderation, and balance our indulgences with healthier fare, but if there are two things that get us.every.single.time, it’s Cow Tales and Caramel Cream candies, and donuts!My hubby does a lot of the quick runs to the grocery store for that extra ingredient I need, or the 6th gallon of milk that week.  On a recent trip to the store, he found a box of Krispy Kreme donut cake mix and picked it up for me.  (This is romance after 20 years of marriage, and I wouldn’t trade it for a thing) That box sat in the pantry for a few weeks until I had a hankering for donuts…I grabbed my recipe for donuts off the blog, and mixed it up.  BUT, I chopped up Cow Tales Minis into tiny slivers and added them to the mix.  Then, I baked them in my Nostalgia Electrics mini donut maker.  (I let them sit for about 40 seconds longer than recommended.)  Once they were baked, I let them cool on a cooling rack…and fought off the kids, and the hubs.

They were pretty darn good as is, but the cake mix came with a packet of glaze…so, I drizzled the donuts with warm glaze, and then sprinkled them with the chopped up Cow Tales Mini pieces.I can confidently say this is next level donut making….and they were all gone within minutes of me finishing the photos for this post.
