Fall on the Farm Party.  For all of my parenting life, I have wanted to have a farm party.  My children, however, had other ideas…and I never got to have a farm party for the kids.  Until now!  I am thrilled to have partnered with one of my favorite candy brands, Cow Tales, for several posts over the next few months.  And, of course, I had to have a farm party for Cow Tales, right?  I love Cow Tales candies!!
Everyday Party Magazine Fall on the Farm Party I knew my table would be rustic, with lots of red tones and wood elements.  I went to Michaels to look for inspiration and some party supplies and found a small bale of hay, and a metal milk can!  The Target Dollar Spot had a wooden apple picking basket, and the antique store had the most perfect cut of vintage plaid fabric.  Finally, I went to my local grocery store and grabbed some flowers, cupcakes, Simply Apple cold pressed apple juice.

When I went to HavenConf last month, DecoArt loaded me up with tons of paints and stains, and a clock face from Walnut Hollow, I used the clock face with some short table legs from Home Depot to make a milking stool, and I stained it with Deco Art stain.  I also had glass milk bottles and plastic apples from Oriental Trading Company that were perfect for the table.  I used my Cricut to make the cutest little cows for the table and farm cupcake toppers.  And my Sizzix banner die and barn die were adorable for this party!

Small crates from Houseworks, LTD (Crates and Pallet) were filled with Cow Tales Crispy Moo Treats.  Mini black and white metal pails were filled with Cow Tales Minis and Chocolate Caramel Creams.  A large glass kitchen jar was filled with more Cow Tales Minis, and a large vintage style measuring cup was filled with a variety of Cow Tales candies.  Apple juice was served in milk jars with or without Caramel Cream caramel syrup and freshly grated cinnamon.

The kids played pin the tail on the cow, Old Maid, and even a fun chicken puzzle.  They also had tons of fun with silly farm animal masks I picked up for about $1 at Walmart.

The plastic apples from Oriental Trading Company were filled with little farm animals for the kiddos, and placed in the wooden apple basket.  But, the kids weren’t the only ones getting treats, my friends at Udderly Smooth sent me a box of Udderly Smooth packages.  They were a hit!  And looked fantastic in a large metal serving tray.
