Summer Snow Cone Party
I love bright colors, the sun and pool parties and I wanted a different party theme…Snow Cones!
I knew I wanted the dessert table full of color. I made a large Snow Cone garland using styrofoam balls, paper cones and twine. I strung it across the back of the table. Each snow cone was a different color. I used lots of pool or beach items to add height to some of the desserts. Beach buckets and cute adirondack beach chairs helped tie it all together.
The kids were treated to Snow Cone Cake Pops, Lollipop baskets, Snow Cone & Beach Ball Krispies, Faux Cones (coconut macaroons), Cake adorned with a mini Snow Cone garland, Snow Cone Sugar Cookies, Snow Cone Cups (chocolate covered marshmallow in a cone filled with nerds), chocolate covered oreos and actual Snow Cones. Lots of sugar, but what’s a party without sugar?!
Some of the fun activities for the kids were water balloon toss and bubble Guns. The pool of course was another fun activity! We had relay races, played Marco Polo and just splashed and had fun in the pool!
Each child used these adorable head wraps. The wraps are so fun and versatile; they can be worn as a belt, head wrap or wristlet. They are available in a variety of patterns from The Purple Chameleon. We also included a printable Snow Cone favor box and put fun goodies and stickers in each one.
A huge Thank you to all my vendors who I collaborated on with this shoot. Nicole with Leighton Belle Photography did a fantastic job with executing the right shots, especially the fun pool jumping shots!
