Easy Refrigerator Pickles

Jarred Pickles Cucumber

Refrigerator Pickles

Since we have been home from our vacation, I have been in the kitchen making all the food. My body just needed homemade food after two weeks of traveling. But, one of the snacks I really loved on our trip was dill pickle chips. They were a great snack alternative for me. But, at just about two dollars for a bag, they are not all that affordable for everyday snacking. So, I set out to make my own dill pickles. And, I made the most delicious refrigerator pickles EVER!

Dill Pickle Recipe

This pickle recipe is one of the easiest and best tasting recipes I have ever made! It’s not super fussy, and the dill pickles are ready overnight!

  • 3 Garlic Cloves
  • 9 Pieces of Fresh Dill
  • 1 1/2 TBS Fresh Cracked Pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut cucumbers into chips or spears and divide evenly into three pint sized canning jars.

Add 3 pieces of dill to each jar.

Thinly slice garlic cloves and place one full clove into each jar.

Combine vinegar, water, salt, and sugar in a sauce pot and stir to dissolve sugar and salt.

Bring to a rolling boil over medium high heat.

Pour brine into each jar to cover cucumbers.

Place in refrigerator for one to two days.

This recipe is perfect for midday snacks, on burgers, or even fried.
