I love making Red White and Blue food for the summer. Actually, I love making red, white, and blue just about anything! But, my life right now is telling me, whoa girl, slow your roll. You don’t have time or energy to spend on this. However, my mind told me to just make and share a super Easy Red White and Blue Snack Recipe. Then, I made something that made me happy, and it was so easy even my young niece could have made it!

Easy Red White and Blue Snack Recipe
This super simple snack recipe is perfect for Memorial Day BBQ’s, the Fourth of July, and even Labor Day. And, it is truly so easy a child can make it with no supervision.

- Cereal
- Marshmallows
- Butter
- Sprinkles
- Casserole Dish
- Microwave Safe Bowl
- Spatula
- Cookie Cutter
Easy Red White and Blue Snack Recipe
Ingredients
- 7 Cups Cap'n Crunch Red White and Blue Stars Cereal Available at Sam's Club
- 5 Cups Mini Marshmallows
- 4 TBS Butter
- Sprinkles Optional
Instructions

Place marshmallows and butter in a microwave safe bowl for 45 seconds, then stir.

Repeat this step until marshmallows have melted. Stir well to mix the marshmallow and butter mixture.

Add cereal to marshmallow and butter mix 1 cup at a time. Mix well.

Once the cereal and marshmallows are well mixed, pack it into a cassarole dish and refrigerate.

Allow the cereal and marshmallows to harden, then remove from the refrigerator and use a knife or cookie cutter to cut into shapes.

Optional – add patriotic sprinkles
