Sweet as Pi FREE SVG File
Happy National Pi Day! I used to love this holiday when I was in high school. I had a math teacher that would bring in pie for all of her classes and we would eat pie during class…it was truly one of my favorite high school memories. If we made a pi themed shirt and wore it to her class, we would get extra credit too! It was such a fun way to get us involved in learning about math. I decided to make this fun Pi Day Shirt for one of my friends, that also happens to be a fabulous math teacher!
Pi Shirt:
Inspired by my math teacher, and my own boys that are at this level of math and learning, I created a fun and easy to make Pi shirt…with a little southern flair.
Make the Shirt:
STEP 1:
Upload the SVG into Design Space, and size to fit. Then, send the project to the machine to cut. {If you are using Iron On, don’t forget to mirror the cut, and place the Iron On on the cutting mat shiny side down}
STEP 2:
Weed the excess Iron On, and pre-heat the EasyPress. See Cricut’s recommended guidelines for time and temperature settings.
STEP 3:
If you’re applying the Iron On to fabric or canvas, put the fabric on the EasyPress Mat and press the fabric before applying the Iron On. If you are putting the Iron On on wood, you will not need to pre-heat it. Now, place the Iron On on your surface and cover it with the protective sheet. Use the EasyPress according to Cricut’s recommended guidelines. Reverse the fabric or canvas and press the backside of the design for 15-30 seconds.
