Free Printable St. Patrick’s Day Activity Sheet
We are getting ready to make a cross state car trip this week with a few of the kids, and I HATE having them spend the whole drive on their electronic devices…To help deter that, I created a few printable activity sheets for the boys to work on on the drive. When I was a kid, I always loved holiday crossword puzzles, and the boys seem to enjoy them too, so I made a few St. Patrick’s Day Activity Sheet printables.
St. Patrick’s Day Games
My very favorite childhood memories are centered around parties or celebrations. {Surprising, right?} Because of that, it’s so important for me to give my boys the same types of memories. Even though they are big kids now, we still celebrate every holiday and special event. Recently, my man-child told me he loved the mess the Leprechauns made in the house every year, and he missed the St. Paddy’s Day printable games I put at their breakfast spots int the mornings. It was a good way to get them excited to get up in the morning, and it encouraged morning conversations.
This printable crossword puzzle may make a second appearance on the breakfast table in a few weeks too.
Take it to School
As a former teacher, I know the struggle is real. I used to hand draw coloring pages for my class to use during times I wanted them to have a calm, quiet, “free time”. These crossword puzzles are a great engaging activity for a classroom too!
When the boys were in elementary school, I would send them with fun St. Paddy’s day activities to share with their classmates. These printable pages are great to pass out as an allergy friendly treat too!
