Back to School Signs 2017

Back to School Signs 2017. My boys return to school this week, and it is truly bittersweet for me. I love having them home for the summer, but I also crave the schedules of school. My biggest baby will drive himself to school on the first day of school for the first and last time this year. My youngest baby is starting his last year in elementary school. The middle two will start seventh and eight grades respectively. I cannot even make it right in my head that my oldest son is starting his senior year, while his littlest brother is finishing elementary school. I KNOW they were just little kids yesterday. Either way, with a proud and grateful heart, I am sending them off to school…and Father Time will continue to taunt me. I have resolved myself to take a photo of one of the boys each day this school year. I will take random, unposed, messy photos of my boys so I can have a visual reminder of this stage in my life.

Every year, I have posed my boys in front of our front door for a photo on their first day of school. Thankfully, I started having them hold signs to remind me what grade they are in. (My mind has played tricks on me, and I have wondered which kid is which sometimes.). And, since I am feeling especially sentimental and emotional, I added a place for the boys to write their names, so I can have a sample of their handwriting too.
