Easy Custom Vase DIY. I am prepping for our first ever Friendsgiving celebration, and I’m diligently working on decor {on a budget} for our home and the party. One of my favorite ways to make a space feel more inviting quickly is with fresh flowers. Our local grocery store sells small bouquets for about $4 a piece, making it pretty affordable to decorate a small space with fresh fragrant blooms.
I mentioned before that our Friendsgiving theme was grateful, thankful, and blessed. I wanted to carry those three words into as many aspects of our dinner party as possible. With that in mind, I decided to use three copper mini buckets from the Martha Stewart Celebrations line at Michaels as vases for my flowers.
To make these darling vases, you will need:
Design Space Access
Small Cups
Flowers
If you are using the Martha Stewart Celebrations buckets, open this cut file and send it to cut. If you are using different buckets, adjust the size to fit your buckets and send to cut.
Weed the excess vinyl, and apply transfer tape to the text.
Place the text on the bucket and smooth out any air bubbles.
Add the vinyl leaves near the text.
Place the small cup inside the bucket {they don’t hold water very well}.
Trim the flowers to fit in the cup.
Place the cup in the bucket, and add water and flowers to the cup.
