I love to shop for kids. I love toys. My own kids are nearly grown now, but they still get toys under the Christmas tree. I still get toys under the tree from Santa! And, because I love toys so much, I created a list of the 10 best holiday gift ideas for children.
If you decide to make a purchase through my links, I will be paid a small commission for it. This doesn’t cost you anything additional.
Since I enjoy shopping, it should come as no surprise that I have loads of gift guides on the blog. But, what does surprise me is the lack of gift ideas I have for younger kids.

This is SUCH an amazing toy for this generation of kids. My own boys have learned to code on a small scale with toys and apps, and I think this would have been a big hit with them just a few years ago.
When my sister and I were kids we had an old Fisher Price globe. It was the coolest globe ever, because we could look through a viewfinder and see images from that part of the globe. It was awesome…like, decades later and I still remember it. This augmented reality globe looks like an updated version of that globe we had as children.
Who doesn’t love Play Doh!? It’s such a great sensory activity.
When I was a little girl I loved getting new LEGO sets. My own boys still love getting new LEGO sets.

I cannot tell you how many dolls my boys had. The boys loved their babies. They slept with them, they rocked them, they had strollers for them! They were great little daddies.
My own boys had more Little Tikes toys than I can count. We still have a lot of them. (And, thanks to Pixar and the Toy Story Franchise, I cannot get rid of them.) I am linking the Vet play set, but truly, you cannot go wrong with Little Tikes toys.
