Oliver’s Fall Inspired First Birthday

I recently shared Oliver’s Safari First Birthday Party, but Oliver, like every baby, is so precious to his mama, that she also wanted to have a special Fall inspired first birthday cake smash celebration. Oliver’s mama owns Sweet Georgia Sweet, and if you follow her even a little bit, you know she adopted both of her handsome little boys. Her older son, Walker, was older when he was finally brought into the family, but Oliver was a tiny newborn. Bethany’s mama heart got to experience all of the joys, and trials that come with an infant, and she wanted to celebrate his first birthday in a big way!

For Oliver’s cake smash session, the photographer suggested a different theme from his party. So we decided to go with a woodland theme by bringing together browns, oranges, and aqua blue. The backdrop was a light brown herringbone pattern and the personalized fox banner just popped! A large wooden stump, teepee, and sweet furry friends set the stage beautifully for his smash. The wooden cake stand and fondant smash cake were the perfect finishing touches! Oliver had a blast!!! He ate way more cake than he should have & got absolutely covered in cake and icing. It was a perfect day!
