Finding Dory Party
Finding Dory Party. Are you as excited to see the new Finding Dory movie as I am? I cannot wait, so yesterday, I hosted a little Finding Dory Party for the boys and their cousins. It wasn’t a big party, just a few snacks, and time in the pool with their new Dory, Nemo, and Mr. Ray pool floats. But, I put tickets to today’s matinee in their favor buckets and they were all so excited!
For this party, I asked my son to spray paint layers of blue, white, and silver on an old presentation board, then I made Dory, Nemo, and Crush with my Cricut to stick to the board. Super easy and adorable!
Since the kids were spending most of the time in the pool, or watching the original Finding Nemo movie, I wanted to keep snacks to a minimum. No cupcakes, or anything fancy. I purchased some Finding Dory ice cream cups at the party store, and some Finding Dory candies at Michael’s, so I put some ice cream on the table and let the kids make their own ice cream treat cups after they finished swimming. You can’t watch a movie without popcorn, so I put some popcorn in a Finding Dory bucket and individual servings in Finding Dory cupcake liners. I am a sucker for Rice Krispie Treats, so I put a few on the table with Finding Dory gummy candies on top too. That’s it! Nothing fancy or spectacular, but totally fun.
Before my niece and nephew left for the night, I gave them their favor buckets with more Finding Dory treats, candies, and {a copy of} their ticket to the movie tomorrow. They were so so so excited! Have you seen the movie yet?
