Ahhh, there is no better treat than donuts for me…well, warm chocolate chip cookies are pretty high up there too…This adorable Donuts for You Valentine’s Day Party was featured in the recent issue of EPM, and my sweet friend Keisha from Cupcake Wishes and Birthday Dreams YouTubed a video DIY for the treats! I knew I needed to share it.

There’s something super punny about Valentine’s Day ideas lately. It seems everyone’s got one going, these days. So, far be it from me to not follow along with the trend.

In the latest issues of Everyday Party Magazine, I’m sharing a donut themed Valentine’s Day Party with a few ‘dough’lightful ideas that are sure to sweeten up all the little cupid’s in your life! (Puns totally intended) All the ideas shared are purse and kid friendly. My little ones totally got into helping with everything.

You and your kiddos can get creative with donuts by adding your own colorful glazed frosting and sprinkles to plain donuts. Simply warm up a can of vanilla frosting in the microwave for 30 seconds and add a bit of food coloring then, top your donuts with colorful sprinkles!

When packaged up really pretty, Cupid’s arrow donut kabobs made with donut holes are the perfect favor or classroom party treat! Follow these simple steps to make your own. You can use the printable label/tag from the donut themed Valentine’s collection I designed for this party. Ours were packaged with a bit of paper sizzle and placed into a cellophane bag……our watch our little Valentine’s Day treat video tutorial and learn how to make them!

Can’t have donuts without a little milk to wash it down. An easy way to turn plain glass milk jars totally party worth, WASHI TAPE! Wrap a few lengths of different patterned washi around a jar, fill with milk and add a colorful paper straw. I topped our bottles with a printable topper.

Party Poppers make great favors. These heart shaped push pop containers were filled with candy chocolates and embellished with an arrow sticker. A perfect Valentine treat!
